To comply with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) RFCUNY is required to provide retirement and health insurance plan participants a Summary Annual Report (SAR) within nine months after the end of a plan year. The SAR is a narrative summary of the plan’s financial status and summarizes the information on the plan’s annual Form 5500 report.
The SAR includes administrative expenses incurred by the plan, amount of benefits paid to participants and beneficiaries, total value of plan assets, a pension plan’s compliance with the minimum funding standards, and a right to receive a copy of the full annual report, or any part thereof.
The annual reports have been filed with the Pension and Welfare Benefits Administration.
For more information regarding your right to receive a copy of the full annual report, or any part thereof, you may contact in writing or by calling the Office of Human Resources, Research Foundation of CUNY, in care of Farrah Dorsinville, Group Plan Administrator by email at Farrah_Dorsinville@rfcuny.org or by telephone at 212-417-8300.
