OneRF Cutover
As we announced in October, the Research Foundation of the City University of New York (RFCUNY) will be evolving and transforming our systems and processes through OneRF, powered by Workday. This page contains important information related to the launch of OneRF, including dates when RFCUNY’s existing systems will close and when OneRF’s Workday platform will open.
One RF Is Live
Access to OneRF’s human resources processes including payroll and timekeeping is now available on the OneRF system, powered by Workday.
All other functionality, including grants and contracts; procurement; and finance processes will be available on the OneRF system on January 5, 2026. When logged into OneRF between now and January 5, you may see options for activities related to these functions – they remain closed until the full launch. Any submissions sent before that date will be rejected and returned.
OneRF Cutover Dates
In order to support the development and data migration necessary to launch OneRF, access to RFCUNY’s existing grants and contracts, procurement, finances, and human resources closed in December.
In order to help the CUNY community prepare, we developed the list of deadlines below related to the OneRF transition – also known as the cutover process.
It’s important to note that, in addition to the deadlines, some processes have a brief blackout window when we ask that you hold transactions until they can be input into the new system.
