General Description
A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Choi at Queens College – City University of New York. We are seeking a talented and highly motivated postdoctoral fellow with expertise in organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry, and/or chemical biology. The Choi laboratory conducts synthesis of small molecules, computer-aided molecular design, and chemical biology studies for the development of therapeutic candidates for human diseases. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in synthetic chemistry or medicinal chemistry, and a strong background in multi-step organic reactions with experience of parallel synthesis is required. The fellow will carry out synthesis, purification, characterization, and identification of small molecule products, and the position will provide excellent opportunities for intellectual growth in computer-aided drug design, structure-activity relationship analysis, biochemical assays, DMPK study, etc.
