Job Description

General Description

Kingsborough Community College is seeking an instructor who can teach “Introduction to Careers in Automotive Technology” and “Introduction to Careers in Engineering”. Classes are conducted at ACS (Administration for Children’s Services) detention facilities in Brooklyn (Crossroads Juvenile Center) and the Bronx (Horizons Juvenile Center). Classes are taught on-site at the facilities once a week for six weeks for 5-6 hours per day.

Candidates must have:

- BA degree

- 3+ years teaching experience

- Experience teaching/working with young adults (experience with opportunity youth / disconnected youth preferred)

- Understanding of/interest in Automotive Technology and Engineering

 

Candidates must have COVID vaccine and comply with ACS background check process
