General Description

The Postdocal Fellow  should have a doctorate in theoretical condensed matter physics with a strong background in many-body physics as well as doing large-scale computational physics.  He or she should have already published peer reviewed articles in journals with a high impact factor.  The postdoc will work closely with the PI in deciding what particular directions we should follow to expand on the new results we have obtained. The postdoc will interface with the collaborators of the PI doing both theory and experiment. These required skills and potential to monitor the progress of the proposed research will serve to make this a successful research project..

Other Duties

The postdoc will make a presentation at a national conference or qorkshop to help disseminate the obtained research results.

Qualifications

It is very important that the postdoctoral Associate has knowledge of Fortran language to be able to write efficient computer codes. Knowledge to carry out band structure calculations such as the Generalized tight-binding model is essential.
