General Description
One post-doctoral researcher position is available within the Biomedical Photonics Laboratory at the Department of Physics & Astronomy, the Hunter College of CUNY. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to develop novel optical imaging techniques for in vitro/in vivo biomedical applications poorly addressed by existing modalities. The successful candidate is expected to be also an active member of a team studying emerging phenomenon from complex systems with a multi-disciplinary approach utilizing theory, computing and imaging at the interface of Physics, Engineering and Biomedicine.
The Hunter College of CUNY is located at the heart of Manhattan, New York with proximity to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Weill Cornell Medical College, The Rockefeller University, NYU and Columbia University. Ample opportunities exist for collaborations and academic development.

Qualifications
The candidate is expected to work on one of the following research areas and/or develop new research directions: imaging with structured-light, multi-scale microscopy, OCT, and ultrasound plus photonics. Prior work on biomedical optics and imaging systems is a plus. Successful candidates must be able to work productively.
