The Coordinator will work closely with a local partner agency to engage stakeholders, recruit members, identify local professional development resources and leadership needs, and craft appropriate and effective responses to those needs.

In this role, the Regional Coordinator will report to the Institute’s Director of Leadership Initiatives and work with colleagues implementing Leadership Initiatives in new communities in New York. The Coordinator will also work closely with the local partner organization to refine the model and services to meet local needs.

Equipped with a wide range of experiences in the field, the ideal candidate will have knowledge of the professional development needs of the early childhood workforce with particular focus on early childhood leadership.

This is a federally-funded grant position through December 2019 with a strong possibility for continued funding after that. This role has two open positions – one in Buffalo and one on Long Island.
