General Description
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Queens College looking for a Research Aide for a short-term position for June/July; up to $20 an hour for no more than 10 hours a week until needed.
The work primarily involves geocoding voter file data and merging with other data to add variables; cleaning the data; create panel data.

Required skills:
-Must have experience geocoding voter file data
-Must have experience with advanced regression, panel methods (fixed, random effects);
-Familiarity with American politics, voting behavior, elections
- Analyze data in R or Stata;
-Create graphs in R
-Merge datasets to create panel data of large datasets (millions of observations)
