For Fall 2022, DEM is seeking a legal intern to work with the Office of General Counsel, with the possibility to continue into the spring semester. The intern will have impact at multiple scales, including helping transform energy usage for the largest municipality and school district in the United States.

The intern will work closely with DEM’s Executive Office Support Unit and Strategic Planning Unit, contributing to contracts review and in other targeted ways to the development of new project implementation vehicles. Areas of focus include public service, government and municipal contracting, commercial, and transactional work.

The intern will serve in a part-time capacity (up 20 hours per week). Note that no student shall be employed more than half-time in any week in which classes in which the student is enrolled are in session. Students may be employed full-time during their vacation periods.
