General Description

The Braunschweig Group (www.braunschweiggroup.org) at CUNY Advanced Science Research Center (https://asrc.gc.cuny.edu/) is seeking a postdoctoral scholar to work on the development of synthetic carbohydrate receptors with antiviral activity. Duties will include preparation and characterization of new molecules via multistep organic synthesis, assessing binding with biological targets, preparing manuscripts for publication, and laboratory management.

Qualifications

The applicant should have a PhD in organic chemistry (or will receive the PhD prior to 15 September 2020) with a track record of high quality publications. They should have experience in multistep organic synthesis and advanced nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Experience working in the field of supramolecular chemistry is particularly desirable.
