General Description

I am Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Queens College looking for a Research Assistant for a short-term position for January 2020 up to $50/hour as needed, no more than 10 hours a week (3 to 4 weeks total). 

 

Required skills:

-Must have experience with advanced regression, panel methods (fixed, random effects);

- Analyze data in both Stata and R;

-Interpret, synthesize and analyze data;

-Data visualization, ability to graph regression results and other data in both R and Stata;

-Analyze, interpret, graph interactions;

-Analysis of residual plots;

-Interpreting regression analysis findings for panel data;

-Schedule, organize and report on status of research activities;

-Interest in elections, political science, American politics, historical data analysis;

-Background in Political Science preferred, but not required.
