Various Instructor positions:

College/Career Readines, Wellbeing, Socio Emotional, Coding, Internet Research and Social Media, Music, Dance. 

Schedule:  Saturdays 10-12 and 12:30-2:30 Fall and Spring.  Summer: 4 weeks in July. Mondays and Wednesdays-Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-12 and 12:30-2:30pm.

Other Duties

Working closely with the Director and Case Management Specialist will deliver instruction to JHS and HS students, in person, at the QCC campus, on Saturday, during the school year and in the July Summer program, 4 weeks. 

Qualifications:   

  • At least 3 years teaching experience working with middle and high school students in private or public schools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate youth
  • Deep rooted passion in serving students and helping them achieve their goals

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver  workshops for middle and high school students
  • Be part of a team to implement learning through the arts and gaming pedagogies during Fall, Spring and Summer.
  • Exhibit best practices in classroom management
  • Take attendance, keep and submit attendance records, monitor retention 
  • Incorporate energetic and direct instruction, discussion, projects, and cooperative work to engage students, keep classes focused and infuse a lasting desire to learn
