Professors Marks and Fabrizio collaborate on their one year, $95,000 award from NEH, From Inquiry to Innovation: Integrating the Humanities into General Education. Their project, a faculty development initiative, consisted of a small cohort of CUNY faculty who participated in a three-phase process of discipline-specific activities. The process focused on ways to effectively amalgamate humanities into the community college curriculum and build a spirit of inquiry in students. Professor Fabrizio states, “Faculty presented their curricular innovations, new learn-ing units, and new technologies they planned to incorporate in their humanities courses.”
