General Description: A postdoctoral position in the field of transition metal-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions with applications in conjugated polymer synthesis. The postdoctoral fellow is expected to carry out reactions independently, and to interpret the reaction results. In addition, (s)he is also expected to record, report and present his/her results professionally and maintain the working place clean and organized. Other Duties: Co-mentoring/training new group members including undergraduate students and graduate students.Salary:$27,000-$30,000 Core Competencies/Qualifications: * Ph. D in Organic Chemistry and/or Polymer Chemistry, * Highly motivated, * Experience in Reaction Methodology development, * Experience in Organometallics (transition metal catalysis) and/or polymer synthesis * Willing to work cooperatively as part of a highly creative team.
