General Description:
The Administrative Associate provides administrative and clerical 
support to the Dean of Workforce Development.  The Administrative 
Associate will oversee administrative functions in the office of the 
dean coordinating projects with other staff in the division.
					
					
					
					
					
					
					

Other Duties:
Schedules and confirms meetings for the dean of Workforce 
Development, and on occasion for the Vice President and other deans. 
35%	

Oversees the smooth operation of clerical functions related to the 
work of the office, Vice President and deans.10%

Selects and orders appropriate equipment and supplies for the office 
as necessary. 10%			 

Interfaces with the dean’s supervisees around programmatic needs, 
responding to information requests from internal and external 
communities. 15%

Creates and maintains files. 10%

Oversees the clerical aspects of grant implementations through 
interfacing with the Grant’s Office and creating important documents 
and charts. 10%

Acts as a resource for other staffers in the Division.5%

As directed by the Vice President or Deans, assists with special

Salary:: $35,000 – $50,000 depending on qualifications and experience

Core Competencies/Qualifications:
Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.  At least 
four years’ relevant administrative office experience, preferably in 
an academic setting.  Excellent oral and written communication 
skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office needed.  Ability to 
work well with others, write and proofread letters, emails or 
memos.   Strong customer service and organizational skills
