After attending CUNY as an undergraduate, Professor Ardebili taught as an adjunct at BMCC. His first sponsored research project related to aeronautics, but now conducts engineering research pertaining to the structural health monitoring of future smart concrete infrastructures through a $40,000 Global Contour award. Successfully climbing the academic ladder, he encourages junior faculty, “Make use of all available resources and be bold in what you are trying to achieve.”
